Happy Sunday, fellow Bravenetters!

It's a beautiful, sunny day here in my part of Canada, and I hope you're all having the same enjoyable weather. Fall is coming fast, and along with the change of seasons, some changes to Bravenet are on the table for launch. To find out what's coming up,
read this update.
While I've been away, I've given some thought to a few things that have either been posted in the Suggestion Box or which have been mentioned in comments or on other journals here. Knowing that the Bravenet development team has been hard at work designing and testing some new site features, I thought I would take a minute to compile and post a Wish List of sorts right here. So, without further ado, here is a list of the features and tools I and other community members would like to see brought in:
1. Organize photos: We would like to be able to drag photos in our albums into specific places. Currently, we only have "oldest first" and "newest first" - which means we have to upload only one photo at a time, if we want to have them in chronological order. If we make a mistake in our upload, we have to delete the image and start all over. This is extremely time-consuming, and not a little bit frustrating and annoying.
2. Customize sidebars: We would like to have the ability to add images and
HTML to the sidebars (like Wordpress). This would allow journalers to use images as links, if they so choose, and it would reduce potential clutter.
3. Auto-save: We would like to have an auto-save option for our journals. Sometimes, things go wrong while we're writing a post, and when that happens, all that we've written is lost. Having an auto-save feature would be very much appreciated.
4. Preview: We would like a
WYSIWYG Preview feature added to our journals. This would enable us to see what graphics and links would look like prior to posting - which means we can make changes prior to posting so that we don't have to keep going back and forth, which is very time-consuming and irritating.
5. Tagboard Date/Time Stamp: We would like to see a time-date stamp implemented in the Tagboard. Personally, I don't always have time to type in the date and time of my visit to someone's Tagboard, and I don't think other members of the community do, either.
That's it for now. Thanks to Leah (
Sugar & Spice) for suggesting the auto-save and customized sidebars features. Here's hoping Bravenet can make all of these wishes come true.

Have a great Sunday, everyone - and don't forget to drop by tomorrow to see who the new JOTW and Blog Spotlight winners are!
